Re-reading the instructions it doesn't actually say that we have to know what the story is for the other 3, but I totally expect her to ask us to show the photos in class and say a sentence or two about what each story might be. My problem is a story might require a certain location, but that doesn't mean a location only has one story to tell.
Then there's the thought that a scene might not need a location, but the right location can add so much depth to a scene (which I think is part of the point of this exercise). I was wandering through the Museum of Fine Arts this morning looking for symmetry. I didn't find any, they seem to set everything slightly off center. But you know me, any excuse to look at art. But I was reminded of (please don't laugh) a scene in Skyfall. When they were outlining that script there would have been a bullet point that says Bond meets Q and gets his new gun and tracking device. In previous Bond films this kind of scene happened in Q's headquarters and you are left with a certain feeling about who Q is and what the relationship between Q and Bond is. In Skyfall they set that scene in the museum looking at a painting of an old battleship being hauled away for scrap. The location really changed the flavor of the interaction between them. So that scene didn't have to happen in that location, but they could do more with the scene because it did.
Anyway, here's my other 3 photos. Hopefully in the next 24 hours the stories for them will hit me.
Deep space. I also got a library card while I was there. |

Symmetry. Frankly if I can find a better outdoor symmetry location between now and 2pm tomorrow I'll be happy, but at least I've got something. |
It will be interesting to see what everyone else comes up with.
