Has anyone got time to proof read for me in the next 48 hours? Send me an email.
I've made wonderful progress on my treatment and pages for
Enid's Wall. I tend to write better in Harwich anyway. I'm not sure why; it's not like there are more distractions in the apartment than in the house. But it's especially true when I'm trying to write
Enid because I can just go to the places I'm going to have her go whenever I need inspiration.
I have to email copies of everything to my professor Wednesday evening so that everyone has time to read over it before we workshop it a week from Tuesday. I can't post it here because we haven't yet got to the class where we learn about how to approach original authors to get the rights to their stories. I was struggling with it for a while earlier in the week. I feel much better about it now.
It's raining now, but the weather was nice earlier so I went out and took some research photos.

I thought Enid could have a moment at the pier where she knows it's not sailboats and whalers anymore, but faced with the reality of is disconcerting. Much like I felt the one time I drove onto a military base and thought, "Well of course it just looks like an office park. I just couldn't help picturing a wood stockade fence with square guard towers in the corners." |

There wasn't actually much fishing going on today, but the seals and gulls were hopeful anyway. |
|
Authentic fishermen cleaning their boat. Three generations I believe. |

I thought the ladies on the pier looked like a slightly younger version of Cassie's Wednesday Women's Group |
|
Yesterday they put up wreaths around Harwich. They've all got buoys. |
|
This photo isn't from today. But Cap't Cass is famous for the buoys on the wall. |
