Pictures for the fun of it

Here are a couple of the pictures that I've been taking while down here at the Cape. They're not award winning photos, but taking them make me happy.

(Also I got the week of teaching in Maine, and I have a confirmed surgery date of 6/25.)

Let's start with Blue, because we can. This was sunset at Rock Harbor.  People were so impressed that she would stand there and pose for me. But Blue knows she's cute, and she works it.
And here's a really blurry, zoomed in picture of the fox that was at the other end of the beach that evening.  It hopped up onto a rock and was watching us for a bit and Blue was just la la la heading that way. Eventually I had to scoop her up to head back away from the fox. Clearly she's in charge of looking cute and I'm in charge of safety.

A different night we went to sunset at Paine's Creek. Blue made friends there too.
These smelled really good.
(The crappy bird pictures that I took on the same walk didn't come out at all. Oh well.)

There are sharks in Chatham.
The beach by the lighthouse in Chatham seems unusually green to me.

  1. Glad to see you had better weather this weekend than we did in Albany!
