Poster child for Young of the Year

So I'm nearly finished with Young of the Year. My goal is to show it at the scientists' working group meeting at the start of November, which gives me 6 weeks to do all the color correction, stabilization, image clean up that needs to be done.

At the same time I need to get all the marketing materials ready. Right now I'm looking for the chick that can be the one I use for the web site, poster, business cards, etc. For those of you who are more graphically minded than I am, I'm running a poll.

Vote for your favorite chick.

Feel free to add comments about your vote below. (And, you know, if anyone wants to volunteer to turn one of these base images into a movie poster (portrait) and postcard (landscape) you'll have my undying gratitude. And if you want to see the latest cut of the film let me know and I'll send you the link and password, but right now all graphics in the film are temp, so no need to match fonts yet because I haven't yet decided on the official one.

  1. Hard to pick a favorite. the chicks are so camouflaged that the photos with parent and child almost make parent(s) the focus... they do brighten the photo with their whiteness, but my vote is chick with egg !!

  2. That's really hard. Will you crop in to see just the chick? People might think the chick with egg is dead rather than sleeping. I like M13 Nest H because it shows it takes a whole family. I like M13 Nest A because the chick is very easy to see. And I like M3 Nest A (1) if you crop in close because the chicks are really cute. If you don't crop in people won't see them.
