Not so beachy

I took a look at my map last night and saw that there is swimming near my house so I thought I'd go for an after dinner walk to the beach.

It looks like you walk straight down school street and end up at the beach.

There's kind of a view at the end of School Street.

But I guess there's only swimming if you live in the house.

Turn left at the end of School Street though, and you do get to Walker Park. It has a playground, a couple of picnic tables, and a set of stairs into the water. Not so much beach, but swimming would be possible. I did not. It was cold.

I sat on the steps and talked to my parents. This is the view looking straight across.

This is looking left toward town.

This is looking right toward the ocean. Though it's more ocean in the way that looking into Chesapeake Bay is ocean. I wouldn't take my kayak out into it, but there is land visible.
